The First Kiss

Have you ever had the one kiss you'll never forget? The one kiss that made you just know. . .

I was lying on his bed; he was kneeling on the floor and we were looking at old modeling pictures of me on the computer. I looked over at him and caught his gaze. "Can I kiss you?" He asked me. This was it. I'd been waiting for this moment forever. For what seemed like years. "Yeah," I whispered softly. He leaned in and took my head in his hand. Then we closed our eyes and connected. It was soft, and sweet, we just melted into each other. We finally pulled apart. "I'm going to kiss you again." and he did, even more passionately than the first. We just "knew." Finally we untangled and lied down on his bed. "When did you know?" "In August," he responded. "I saw you and you were so beautiful and you took my breath away. That is when I knew. How about you." I sighed. "I've always known." I said softly. I just knew I had to wait for the right timing. I've always dreamed of this moment, but never thought it'd come. And it is just so perfect and right." "Yeah it is. Hey listen, I am going to go take a shower quick and then you can massage me." I laughed because earlier over dinner I'd offered to. "Sure," I chuckled. We pulled apart and he walked into the bathroom, while I lie there thinking it's better than all my dreams of this moment, of this day. This was the man that I had loved for so long. And finally. I'd prayed for this moment to come but I felt like I was more in a fairy tale. I did not want to wake up from it. We met so long ago and when I first saw him, when our eyes first connected, there was that instant chemistry. Though the time definitely was not right back then. I finally rolled over and got up to check on the kids. They were sound asleep in the living room. I sighed with sheer happiness as I pulled out my very special chocolate massage oil! Tonight was going to be a night, I'd never forget, I thought with a smile playing on my lips!
